I started with my design for the

"Combo" - All 4 Stamps Cover...

Thinking about the four Science

Greats I came up with the

"Telescopes 'n Microscopes" theme.

I felt this was a nice tie-in

for them as a group.

I will also be doing individual designs

for each of the four.

There will only be 10 of the "Combo" design made at $40.00 Each

I will be making 10 Each of the Single Stamp Designs as well which will sell for $35.00 Each.

Chinese Lunar New Year - The Year of the Rat

Chinese "Year of the Rat"

I Tried to keep the design as "positive"

as I could considering the Rat

isn't a very popular animal...

Decided on a simple silhouette in traditional red and gold along with Chinese characters for "Year of the Rat".

To dress it up I added a floral design

and finished with a blended oil pastel background to tie it all together.

Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings - 1939 Pulitzer Prize Winner

First Marjorie Rawlings Design

Only 8 to be made.

I chose to focus on the 1939 Pulitzer Prize Winning "The Yearling".

The image of Rawlings is from a 1939 Photo, the Pulitzer Medallions, and a stylized illustration of a '30s Typewriter.
