Well, I'm posting this morning just to explain to anyone who may notice... I am having to change my Contact Information on the pages of my Website.  No longer will contact email come to me through this website's email system.  I will post my "emrickcachets" email address in every spot that requires contact links...

Why, you may ask?  Only because there is someone out there who thinks this: (tmHO4< href="http;//www.tozmxai2er.com">3zeq8</a> , url=http://www.v8s2bbt336r.com) is REALLY FUNNY... I suppose it is to some folks... but just wastes my time and I can't "SPAM" them when they come through the website email system.

Many thanks to all of my Collector Friends... please, continue to stop by and keep those emails coming with any questions, requests, and suggestions...

... As for the person sending the "garble"... No hard feelings, but you really need to "Get a Life".

Just a quick note to mention my new payment policy.  Many of my Customers have been waiting for their covers for six months or more... and having paid up front that is too long to have their money tied up... so...

Starting with orders received 5/16/09 and later the following will be policy for payment:

First Time Customers: 10% of total will put the project on the Schedule.  Two weeks prior to beginning the project I will send an email requesting the balance.

Existing Customers: The project will be put on the Schedule upon receipt of the order.  Two weeks prior to beginning the project I will send an email requesting the full payment.

With my designs taking longer to paint I hope this will make the decision to order easier for everyone.  I do not wish to tie up my Customers cash for months before filling the orders...

New Website "Landing Page" & "Home Page"

I recently redesigned my "Home Page"... my goal was to utilize two columns and minimize the depth of the page as I add new scans of finished covers.  After spending quite a bit of time building a new page to replace the old one I found out too late that the "Home Page" can not be simply replaced... it must be rebuilt.

Rather than start over I decided to turn the old "Home Page" into a landing page containing my Blog... and directing arrivals to click the logo image... or the navigation "Home" bar to get to the new Home Page.

Work Continues...
I have been using a lot of "waterbased oils" mixed with watercolors and pastels in the recent designs... For the Frank Sinatra/Tommy Dorsey design I added some bright blue acrylics for a new interesting effect... My Customer really likes it and I hope others do as well!
