A couple of days ago it was confirmed that the Design Set Two Collector will include all 52 Players Names that are being
done for Design Set One in his set! This means that I must renew my search for the Scotts #855 Baseball Sandlot FDC
"Blanks". Please, let me know if you have any that are the correct standard #6 size without cachet and the
address (if any) does not go into the cancellation. You may contact me at emrickcachets@earthlink.net .
I have
just purchased "Blanks" for the First Day Covers for two sports stamp issues: #1381 Baseball Batter and #1382 Football
Player and Coach. There are eight of the Baseball Batter and nine of the Football Player and Coach. I haven't
decided yet whether I will make one design for each or as I am doing with the 855s create a set of eight and nine different
Players / Players-Coach each for one collector.
If you are interested, let me know and let me know if you would be interested
in One of a Kind Sets or just purchasing "one of ____" if they were all the same.
Gotta' get back
to painting... I currently have 32 Covers on the Schedule and folks are waiting!
Thanks for visiting the site... please,
let me hear from you and/or sign in on the Guest Book!

I just sent for cancellations for the 60th Anniversary of the Supersonic Flight of Chuck Yeager in the Bell X-1.
I used the 32 Cent Bell X-1 Stamp (Two on each cover) for seven and for six others I combined it with the 13 Cent Spirit of
St. Louis thinking of a design that will commemorate air travel milestones.
I also have some Jimmy Stewart cancels
in combination with the B-24 Liberator stamp (Stewart flew B-24s in WWII) and also have several combined with the 13 Cent
Spirit of St. Louis stamp and a few combined with the old C-10 Spirit of St. Louis to do a cachet for the movie that Jimmy
Stewart played Lindberg in.
Again, with limited time available, I sure need some brave soul to step out and place
an order for some of these - having faith sight-unseen that they will turn out well!
Also, remember I have several
of the Polar Year cancels autographed by the survivor of the Crash of George I during the "Operation Highjump" of
1946-47... also need a buyer to order and get this on the schedule.... Come on, take a chance! If you don't like
it I'll refund your money and sell it to someone else!
Thanks for dropping by! Let me hear from you with
any special requests and/or suggestions!
Bob
