I just finished posting a list of all the blank First Day Covers that I currently have in my inventory.
(See
the Blank FDCs Page)
These include all that I have personally had canceled - ready for designs as well as those
recently purchased dating back to 1999. Since I basically "Paint as Ordered" due to limited hours available
for cachet making the idea is to have potential customers read through the list searching for stamp issues that they are interested
in adding to their collections.
Any covers listed may be ordered as a "One of a Kind" or can be considered
the "First of a Set". If the cover chosen is one that I have many blanks - and I have in mind to create sets...
these will be "First of a Set" orders... If there are only a few of the chosen cover these will be "One of
a Kind" add-ons.
On those that I have Sets planned for... it is possible to create a unique design rather than
being part of a set if you so desire. The cost of a One of a Kind is slightly higher than the One of a Set price.
Please,
scan through the list and contact me with any questions and/or requests for orders.
Thanks again for visiting the site...
take your time and enjoy the visit. I look forward to hearing from you.

It's been awhile since I last posted anything on the blog. Today I have a couple of things to let you know about.
First, the large Scotts #855 Baseball Add-On Project is moving ahead nicely. I have been able to find some nice "blank"
First Day Covers for this issue keeping well ahead of my rather slow pace of painting. It now appears that a second
"855 Collector" is interested in purchasing a set of the same players but I will be doing a new different design
for him to keep each set unique. I am currently painting a regular set of my "Baseball Sluggers" (last complete
set that was available) and one each of the two "Champlain" covers for him. The plan being to start on his
"855 Set" upon completion of these first six covers. So, looks like I'll be continuing the search for
suitable Add-On Covers of #855 for quite awhile!
Second bit of news concerns the fact that last week I purchased the
entire inventory of unpainted First Day Covers and a few Event Covers from Pete McClure. Pete created some great designs
and printed many very nice "CEC Cachets" over the past 15 years but decided to call an end to the cachet making.
This purchase means I will now have a broader scope of covers to offer as Emrick Cachets on issues dating from 1999 through
2005... the year that I actually started with the 50s Sporty Cars Issue. As soon as I can complete the task of cataloging
and listing all of the 3,500 covers that I now have added to my current inventory I plan to post a new web page on this site
listing what is available. It may be a week or two before I can get this done... but with this information you may know
of a certain stamp issue that you'd be interested in... just let me know and I'll search it out to see if I have what
you want! Watch the site for further info on this...
