Orders Coming In!!!
Things are going well... keeping busy with quite a few orders to fill and others indicating intent to purchase
soon.
I am about to start painting on the third Garbo Design and now have requests for a fourth design to follow
soon.
I had to give up on receiving my "First Days" publication at home and had the AFDCS send a copy
to my work address... so, I have now seen for myself the Emrick Cachets Article on page 49.
Just about ready
to start on this year's issues: Ella Fitzgerald, Love & Kisses, and Oklahoma Statehood.
Remember, if you
have any ideas for Add-On Cachets for covers that you have let me know!

Emrick Cachets Article in "First Days" AFDCS Publication!
Well, I've been told that I am being featured in an article in the current issue of "First Days" magazine for
the American First Day Cover Society... I'm hoping that my copy arrives today but so far I haven't seen it!
I count it a great honor and privilage and give my thanks to the people at AFDCS for their help and support in getting Emrick
Cachets started.
It seems that the Greta Garbo Designs are still HOT! I have located enough additional covers
to produce eight of the first two designs on Dual US/Sweden Cancel Covers.... and also a Third Design as well.
I've
posted a scan of the first "30's Magazine Design" on the Dual Cancel Cover just today. The third design
should be ready for sale within the next couple of weeks.
Thank you for visiting... let me know if you have questions
or would like to request an order.

New Stamp Issues!
Well, I'm preparing for the three new issues that are out/coming
out - Ella Fitzgerald, Oklahoma Statehood, and Kisses! I have the Ella Fitzgerald stamps ordered and will order the
other two as soon as they are available.
I'm still searching for more Greta Garbo Dual Cancellation
covers... and US Cancellations if I find them... started my second design and I think it's turning out really cool!
I'm doing a combo watercolor/pencil sketch for this one and so far the mix is looking good.
The new design
is being placed on the Dual Cancellation covers that I have and are already sold out! I'll post the design after
it is completed and if you want one as an "Add-On" you can send me your cover and I'll add the cachet to it.

Garbo Dual Cancel Covers.... SOLD OUT
Well, just yesterday I let you all know that I had only two more "blank" US/Sweden cancel Garbo covers left and
today I have to tell you that those last two are now sold as well!
I'm starting work on the 2nd Garbo
Design that will go on several of these last Dual Cancel Covers. I will try to locate and purchase some additional Dual
Cancel covers... they are no longer available at my regular sourse.
If anyone out there has any or knows
where I can find some - please, let me know.

Four of Six Garbo Dual Cancellation Sold
I mention on my Greta Garbo Page that I have six Dual Cancellation (US/Sweden). I just agreed to a "Special Request"
Order that leaves only two more. Part of the request requires me to go ahead with the second design that I planned to
do later. Once I have this second design I'll post it for all to see... and make it available for the two remaining
blank covers.

Snow Flake with Airbrush Background Now Posted
I am still working on finalizing the detail painting of the white snow flake that is reversed out of the airbrush background...
but went ahead and scanned it as is to show you what I'm doing to add interest to the Cardinals and Holly design.
Go to the Snow Flake Tab to see with and without the background added. Let me know what you think.

Slight Design Change on "Snow Flakes"
I have decided to "add to" the design that is currently posted for the "Snow Flake" issue. I am
just about finished with the "addition" and will post the scan of "Before" and "After" once
I have it ready. I'm adding an AirBrush Background to the Cardinals and Holly Design that I think enhances it and
gives more interest. Once it's posted, I'd appreciate any input from you on which you may prefer. Thanks
again! Bob

Mickey Mantle of Baseball Sluggers Set - SOLD OUT!
The last of six Mickey Mantles in my Baseball Sluggers Set is now sold out. There are a few each of the other three
- Campanella, Ott, and Greenberg. I do however have plans for a second design for each of the four stamps - these will
be on covers with cancellations tied with two older baseball stamps. *(See illustration of these on the Baseball
Sluggers page). I do have my own personal copy of the Mantle that I plan to keep in my collection - but if you really,
really want one, let me know and we can see if we can strike a deal for it. Again, I'm getting no "guest sign
ins" other than the first one... come on! Let me hear from you... and tell your collector friends about the site if you
think it's worthwhile! Thanks!!! Bob Emrick

New Designs Posted: Ronald Reagan, Snowflakes, and 2nd American Clocks.
I've posted the new designs now... go to "My Latest Designs" tab to check it out! I
just changed monitors on my computer at work and noticed the big difference in the color and density of color... this reminded
me of the fact that some monitors give better looking images than others...so I thought I should mention - the colors on the
actual covers are bright and dense.

New Year - New Designs
After a restful week off from work I go back tomorrow. I have new designs ready to post for: Snowflakes, a 2nd American
Clocks, and my first Ronald Reagan. These should be on the site by the end of day January 2nd. I put a "Guestbook"
on the homepage in hopes of making contact with some of you collectors out there. So far only one entry (Thanks Phil)...
please, take a moment to let me know what you think of the site and the cachets. Some of you may have noticed the changing
prices... I now believe that "The Price Is Right!" I certainly don't want to price myself out of the market...
I also don't want to Under-Value the amount of work that goes into each and every cachet. Again, your input here
is also welcome. Let me hear from you! ... and tell your friends who may have interest in the cachets and the
website! A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! Bob.
